At least it means the rider won't fuck up his face :)
A trackbike shouldn't have brakes, it's not designed for them. Ride it on the track/road, or ride geared/ss.

A bike should have whatever the owner wants it to have. There are no laws around this. (Okay there is a law around riding on the road with one brake but that's the law you are suggesting is broken)
Do you limit everything in your life to using everything as 100% designed :-)

Finally got the last part of the group; the seatpost. It's taken years to get this lot together.
Now I just need to build up the wheels and get a respray.

Portsmouth City paint job? Disgusting. I went to uni in Portsmouth/Used to ride a trials bike on the law court walls. true story.
Well if you don't like Portsmouth I guess it's a good job you left. Where you from?
Thanks to everyone else for the positive comments.

Ofcourse your're right! I just don't like to see a brake on a bike which isn't designed for one.. And yeah, i'm a sucker for esthetics ;)

Finally finished my Raleigh Equipe budget build. Total cost including paint job £158.95
http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i84/borneoskatesmini/DSC02773.jpgThat is some very well spent cash, looks very nice, especially considering the cash you spent. Where did you get it sprayed?

JFGI was a valid response to the actual question (where to get pop rivets), even if this is the right place to ask about the best way to re-attach a head badge.

we should all set up our own individual websites. no one would actually see anything that they didn't want to, and whatever we wanted to find out about fixed / ss in london we could just google it.
I thought I gave a reasonable answer to his initial question (although after mcdcc_testers's comments I realise pop rivets actually may not be a great way to attach a headbadge) but come on, the guy was asking where to buy a common as muck bit of DIY kit. Does he want me to stick the headbadge on for him too once he's bought the tools?

Henry, you need to put huge moustache bar on it to make it proper anti porn.
I used double sided 3M sticky tape. No problem.
Used it to fit chrome covers over the door handles in my old roadster. They are still on five years later.
