  • Very nice. Now to finish it off with some proper pedals and disco slippers.

  • What and look a tit

  • :)

  • Pisti I'm really sorry mate, but be careful with that frame. The rear end looks...fuzzy.

  • Finished the high-pro... complete with generic energy drink seatpost shim.

Big thanks to Ved for the frame.

  • What size seatpost do you really need? I have a cheapy 27.2 black one you can haz for beerz...

  • West Beers Shim FTW - Nice

  • @Aroogah

I haz 27.2, and it takes 27.2.... It's just a loose fit, that's all. Tighter than a n-n-n-nun, now though.

  • So got the winebox mounted - its a smaller 6 bottle box as i didnt want something too big. Used a 5 quid headset mounted basket rack as the base, then got some bits and bobs from homebase to mount it. Works a treat, going to use some danish oil to coat it. I put some Rolson non slip matting in the bottom to stop things rattling.

The bike is an old Pashley Tube Rider i rescued off a mate, which had been stripped of its parts - put a 7 speed sram coaster hub on the back, fuck off sofa of a saddle, and some Nitto Promenade bars. Front wheel is hte original Sturmey drum brake hub.

Its meant to be my pub/lock up and leave bike - its like riding a sofa, and i love it!

  • Fuckin photobucket's down, can't put up pics :-(

Pain in the arse PB was looking forward to seeing it.now I can see it looks very nice indeed

  • Regarding rattlecanning my bike...

If you're going to do it, make a party of it

  • Vinyl, that bike look stupidly relaxing to ride, I have a nagging feeling it might end up being your main bike...
