thats weird mr smith, it should be fine in firefox with flickr...
hmmm

been like it for a couple of months on my macbook too. most images don't load on the flick page and firefox crashes every hour or so. threads with lots of images only load half of them (on any site) would swap to safari but there is an issue with importing passwords/favorites.
connection is fast 5-6mb -

Is that a Dura Ace cassette?
-
• #1808
it is. although it's actually not for this bike (will be ultegra) still waiting for a few more bits to turn up. dura-ace shifters and ultegra chain are on order. bars/stem/saddle i'm still pondering over.
no frame for this stuff to go on yet. -
• #1809
any idea on frame yet? I'm looking forward to trying the new Fizik saddle, looks like it will be a winner.

a cervelo. probably an S1, maybe a slight chance of a carbon one.
those DT's are going to be my winter wheels dura-ace carbon/alloy composites for the summer (the normal height rims not the 50mm aero ones)
i can't see this bike being finished until well into the new year though -

Need to make a few adjustments and remove a couple of stickers, so still work in progress.
Big thanks to:
Hillbilly for helping me assemble this project
Object, Dogsballs and Corny for BB advice - you guys were right!
Superprecise for his eye for aesthetics
and any other poor sod who I have either bored on this matter or whose advice or opinion I have soughtPhoto was taken after Sano's birthday drinks (I even had a few shots of Sambucca in celebration of Ian getting older and that the bike was now assembled), so not the best picture.

Ta. First build so obviously overly pleased so far. =)
Paint job was just done at a car shop, Autovation in Manchester, couldn't afford Atlantic Boulevard's prices.

Very nice!
Is that a half link chain on there?^ Yup
-
• #1821
Neither - that's just the box it came in. It's a Casati Cronox from, I believe the late 70s;
That's bloody beautiful, Andy... Likey very much!

wow! vintage loveliness and titanium pimpin' on the same page..
You guys are great.
James - did you weigh the frame? If so, submit it to Hippy's database.. ha! -

..But his Chitanium frame cost as much as james' (chainset + headset)
& corny is not a hater...as he keeps reminding me. -

16lbs for the complete bike
here is a work in progress.
it's a hipster geared build, white rims and bar tape.
