  • me likey

  • Decided in my wheel frustration to swap in the ones from the Carlton, its looking good, just need to source some new wheels... might go with kiwicycles.

Quite excited to get this on the road.

  • Looking good. Where did you get your seatpost from? I was looking for a longer 'old style' seatpost.

  • Ha, I took frame down to the shop and they just gave me a cheap £5er jobby..

Wheels wise, how do these look?

  • apologies for negativity but that geekhouse bike is 100% not my taste.

however that black bike with pink bits pwooooar :p

  • Ghost crank?

  • Nice work Dale. White bits looking good, that's no mean feat.

  • Ghost crank?

    photochoppy??

  • Yep, Gizmond was offering me some and I was just having a look to see what the more deep section rims would look like. Not quite sure whether they suit the frame. Wheels always seem to cost me more than the rest of the bike put together too, is this normal?

  • Yes dear, here 'tis... Stealth soixante-neuf...

Nice - - use some decal remover to scrub those tires though and you will have full stealth mode

Is the Lo Pro yours to? - looks very simialr to the Cinelli x MASH frame

Now all you need is one of these....

...And you can get back to good old 2007...:)

You can take the decals off the rubber tyre???? I had no idea! Were can you get this magic remover of company logos? Does it have a name??
or are we talking about sand paper here?

  • Looking nice Dale, what's the crank?

AND Em, Joe - silver nipple fail! ;-0

  • dadaa!

I saw a black GT track frame with a fully sprung brown Brooks saddle locked outside Spitalfields Market at lunchtime and thought it was an odd combo.

And another Brooks/ GT track combo on here when I get home.

Maplins Decal Remover - just spray it on the tire, and get scrubbing with a jay cloth, should come off easy, and doesnt fuck the tire

  • Looking nice Dale, what's the crank?

It's my old left hand drive profiles with a tree splined sprocket on.

  • Where'd you get this color idea Dale?

  • Rep snot blocks?

Awesome! I'm off to the shops. Cheers fella.

  • Expecting delivery tomorrow for my wife. I'm more excited than she is.

  • Roadbike DMC?

  • Roadbike DMC?

    Yep, Supercorsa road version.

Preowned, so I won't feel too bad converting into fixed.

    Can't wait!

  • Do you have the parts ?

  • It's coming as a full bike.

I'll likely split it and sell a few parts to recover some of the cost and fund the rest of the build.

Not yet sure which direction to take ... it all happened so quickly.

  • AND Em, Joe - silver nipple fail! ;-0

Stealth wheel is still under construction, couldn't get black lockrings but brass nipples, spokes, rim and hubs are all black... Very black indeed... So shut it, whitey... Still very much a current project... ;p
