Gutted...that Bianchi would have been mine if a certain person had paid me what they owed. Instead i had to back out at the last minute. Don't ever lend money to anyone...some of them will just treat you like shit for it. :(

fuck all to do with money, if you don't borrow shit you don't end up upsetting people, and if you don't lend shit, you don't get upset.
keep your shit to yourself if you don't want your shit shat on

Its just a Ribble 631 road frame. Ted fitted track ends on it for me, and I had it powdercoated at armortex.
Im liking the colour, do you know the exact colour code?

isn't it "neither"? "neither" a borrower nor a lender be?
I suppose it's the same in essence but "never" is a bit more absolute, no?
Neighbour: "So sorry to disturb you for coming over this time of night sir, it's just the babby's got a touch of the cholic bless her poor soul and I've run out of milk, having squeezed the very life out of my good matronly breasts after using the very last of the milkman's delivery. I wondered - kind sor - maybe you might have a half-pint you'd be willing to see me right with until the marnin'....?"
RPM: "Never a borrower nor a lender be." (door closes)

Just thought I'd post my first attempt at building a single speed bike, its an old astra 10 racing bike, I think they are rebadged motobcanes, but just wondered what people thought of it so far, it is by no means complete, needs a lot of tweaking and testing, but so far it rides well!

I think it looks pretty sharp as is, except the stem appears to be reaching for the stars.

Bianchi arrived this afternoon waiting on my cranks now.
Are you going to fit TT bars or some drops? I can't imagine the current setup being good for giving it beans.

I thought QRs where considered dangerous on the track.

yeah great bike
Is the bike pictured with the saddle in the correct position (height)?
In that case, an aero seat post doens't make a lot of sense. It will be one of the shortest, with just a very short, flat part.
In case the saddle has to be move up: I can offer you a NOS Mike Burrows seat post Nr.3. Also some used, longer ones.
PS: when you say "aero post", I think you mean something like the Burrows post. Goes the best with the Bianchi.
Or are you looking for an "aero-ish" Campag or Shimano ? In that case, the oval section is short. Perhaps just good for this saddle height.
