Okay I'll keep it in mind!

I have the diacompe one on the front and it's perfectly fine. If you're gonna want some extra power i suggest you to also buy the rear one.

Chipping away at my first track bike.
Still needs a Flite saddle, a matching wheelset and the forks need chromed/powdercoated as bought stripped - can’t make my mind up.Also the R2D2 headset might get swapped out, not sure if I’m feeling it.

Very nice, level out the drops maybe?

If it's actually for the track, I'd just give them a good scrub and then rattlecan clearcoat.

If I can source/bodge a tool for the headset I'd probably be more tempted to keep it. A real faf using a strap wrench

Built this a few months ago - mostly inspired by looking at pictures of @Rik_Van_Looy 's Duratec and also @Elpolo 's Stratos - and although I was pleased with it it never inspired me while actually riding it
Then I thought a little and borrowed a bigger cog and nice tires from other bikes and took it on a 300km ride and it turns out it's quite good when it's not overgeared for me and rolling on cheap skiddable tires
So I bought a better size cog and some tires I wanted to try (actually better than expected but not sure if gumwalls were the right choice in the end) and it's now probably my most ridden bike
Still needs new hoods and I'd like a Record or Chorus brake when I have some free cash as this 105 doesn't suit it and these levers don't pull the right amount of cable

How did I miss that? Bonkers - I love it. Those frames are ridiculous in a very good way.
Could you be persuaded to put a basket on that? 😄

I have a small Velo Orange rack and a Roadrunner randonneur bag that will go on it. But got some different Wald baskets I could try out too.

This Daccordi is my daily single bike for zipping around London. Latest change was the Grammo stem and be EC90 bars. I'm pretty happy with it now. Just need to fine tune the BDHU situation and fit the bar tape. But now I'm nervous about leaving it locked up! Is this getting too nickable? I'm hoping thieves still see it as an old steel bike.

I would definitely nick that. But then again I like old steel bikes.

this looks very propper nippy - favourite bit is the wheels - whats the build on them?

Spectacular. Everyone needs to try one of these at least once. Hilarious to ride! I actually sold mine yesterday and I’m regretting it already. Bet it sounds ROWDY with the disc on!

Looks nice. You can always wrap some white electrical tape around the decals to make it less appealing

electrical tape
Don't use electrical tape, you'll spend days cleaning the adhesive residue off. Self-amalgamating silicone is available in white, but realistically the only solution to bike theft is to ride something you'd be happy to see the back of
