No, i'm totally on the fence tbh.
Is the £100 price difference the only thing that differentiates the 2 in your opinion then?
The option of the blb is partly appealing just because it's different to what I've had before I guess.

What hubs are those?

ISPs are a headache tbh. I had an isp road bike frame and wouldn't get another.

You ever seen BLB in an accredited race? Oh wait, all you want is hipster points... >>>>>>>

Plus a power meter!!! You racing again?

Picked this cracked Litespeed up recently. Need to get the headtube/downtube junction repaired and the plan is to build up somethinginspired by @t0-ster Rock Lobster (but more budget friendly).
First issue - who/where to repair the frame. Any suggestions? I emailed Enigma a fortnight ago but no response...

Try Winston at Varonha frameworks, he's top

Titanium though

Great thanks! Got an email?

Winston at Varonha frameworks
I've emailed him. Cheers!

Pretty sure he only works in steel. I think a crack there would need a whole tube replacement, might get pricey. Maybe talk to the overseas builders like waltly or triton? Not sure if they do repairs though

Frankly I don't need it to be especially pretty - just strengthened with a brace or whatever...

Sorry, that was just a reference to an earlier DIY alu repair
If you can't get a response from/afford a ti framebuilder, I'd try looking for local welders. Don't know how they would handle such thin tubes but worth a shot
A quick Google says https://angellwelding.co.uk/ work on titanium
Good luck! -

Ooop yeah you're right

• #126645
Nope, many others.
What do you plan to use it for?
-
• #126646
That bike looks so good. I feel it is unfairly unloved.

Hmmm I should fix dat bar angle
or get some bars that aren't bloody awful

Such as? - seriously, I would like to know! I assumed that 7000 alu was better than 6000 alu, but seems that's not the case, and pretty negligible. I'm not that clued up when it comes to geometry beyond the basics, so is that where it differs?
Street + commuting mainly, but I was hoping to be able to +/- a crosstop lever or whole cockpit, caliper and have it track legal - I did a track taster last year and would like to get into it.
Pinarello looks like a great deal, but I'm not planning on a brklz commute too.

Ha ha, LOL - I have a reputation for bodging ;)
The half-ass answer for under a tenner is FiberFix
Otherwise, I wouldn't touch a titanium frame that was cracked in that sort of place with a ten-foot pole, because it's the headtube and the downtube that need replacing surely...

Thanks for the reply!
Fiberfix...serious option or just a joke?
Fixie Inc had some cool bikes in the range BTID.
Dat bar angle tho.
