👌love that fork!

swapped the flat bars from my out of service MTB onto my sscx.
feels weird but quite enjoyable. I think it might be better with some fatter tyres.

Yeah it’s really nice but most likely a bit small for the usage I have in mind even with that spacer stack. On the look out for a 20/21” version of the same or similar.

More immediate tasks are binning that top loader for front load...

Yeah CK ti... I’ve accumulated quite the array of parts to build a too-small frame. In fairness it’s only too small if I want all day comfort, could blast down some hills/through some woods with the stem slammed.

If I can’t make it work then I will sell it once I find a replacement F+F

Flat bar sscx is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

OP didn’t specific wearing clothes while riding

I'm guessing the lack of either drive or brakes indicates that he is riding it only down gentle inclines 🙂

Thanks for the kind comments. I must admit I like the way it's worked out.

I just want to get back into riding really, so making it for rides with my two young boys (5 and 2) and my wife. All rides will be gentle pootles I'd imagine!
