Thank you I have edited. If you have 5 minutes I would like you to use your magic to paste the Regal on the Capo please. See the previous page

I think I have the answer (thanks to @ceramique) : the cranks are reversed to reduce bb twisting in the frame. In a "classic" tandem, first and second chains forces add up and impose a greater twist to the rear bb. On a Follis, both of chains pull the bb backward so there is no twist. @mdcc_tester

Regal is too classic. Needs a white Flite, but they are rarer than hens' teeth.

Re: brifters.. I had to roll the bars forward slightly because my wrists are really fussy with the hood angle. (I was actually dreading the gaston Campag-brifter assessment!)@Dick - cheers, they're just generic Chinese 50mm rims on Novatecs. They were a NOS eBay purchase, so I'm not sure of the exact manufacturer. I think they're the older style Chinese Carbon because the pronounced brake track, like this:
As opposed to my old (but newer design) set, which had pronounced-looking-but-actually-flush brake track:

Great job!
@mdcc_tester : *If you want it to be properly assembled and look pretty, get one of these. *
I cut a round of polyethylene plastic packaging and it makes the job, and it's really lighter !
(do not do that on a MTB or street bike...)
