  • Nice, assuming that was my old front wheel

  • hahaha LOL....Have you made the stiker ?
I think I'll give back the CXP12 on the Michel and the 3spΓ© on a TT bike

  • Nah not my sticker

  • Of course you are free to use it any way you want. Bikes should ride and not hang on walls. Just thought it would be nice to save it, as Eroba is a Dutch brand from way back, like Joco or Presto, and there's not many left, unlike Rih, Gazelle, Batavus etc.

  • Super stoked, Roval track hubs just arrived. 24/24H bought from a seller in USA

  • <3 How do you manage to find 24h rims and roval spoks now ?

have a 26" front track front whell but no 26" forks/frame...

  • I'm in contact with Pete Matthews, he is a experienced wheel builder and is able to create new spokes and adjust his Pianni rims to fit the hubs. Expensive project, but worth every penny. Nice front wheel!

  • He could cannibalize spokes from road version which can be had for pennies, however those still neeed rival rims, rite?

  • Yes, those hubs are good looking, smooth rolling and an exotic change from kinda boring Record.

  • I looked into these hubs a while ago, I had some 24h pianni sprints
My plan was to bash normal straight pull spokes into the correct shape with a hammer and anvil.... I didn't get round to doing it so I can't confirm whether or not you die.
the shape of the spoke head is this

  • Hammering the spoke head will cause tension in the metal that will cause it to break prematurely unless you do some home annealing afterwards.

  • Ill leave it up to Pete to do this job. I want to ride the wheels in the velodrome, not putting myself at risk by using second hand spokes and nipples. The nipples are plastic and what about the correct amount of spoke tention? No clue

  • Iirc Pete doesn't rate the roval rim and builds roval hubs onto his own pianni rims in which case the nipples will be normal brass

  • I know, I was just hypothetically speaking if I'd were to use second hand stuff.

  • New rims (R460), new tyres (Marathon Supreme) and I’ve gone tubeless. Feels nice, actually. Bike could do with a good clean and service though.

  • I've got a Pete Matthews wheel. Mavic 500 hub, bladed spokes (28 I think) and his usual shallow aero section tubular rim. I'm really pleased with it. I'm not sure why some people are so snooty about his wheels, I think it's quite a nice wheel!

  • thats a nice bike but wtf is going on with the front mudguard mount at the brake bridge?

  • Looks to me like a classic derecessed-recessed-nut complete with internal knee examiner.

  • If you don’t know I’m not going to tell you.

  • fork valve.

  • I thought you knew everything.

  • nice and sensible

  • Yep. Nice biek. 10/10

  • I’d like a box for the front rack. Any ideas? Also need to do some fancy routing of the dynamo cables. Otherwise pretty happy.
