Fits perfectly and in A4 stainless steel so no rust.
that's gonna eat up your hub a bit..

Also great cosmetic/durability upgrade for anyone who has ever disassembled a rear Novatec hub track hub and completely mashed the soft aluminum cone nuts.

Anyone ever stripped a Cambium down? I need to dismantle one (well, two actually) and I’ve got some bolts which are just spinning - can’t get any purchase on the rivets. I’ve tried strong tape and using a bit of rubber to grip it but no joy.

For rear axle replacement nuts - M10 x 1.
As mentioned by @mdcc_tester
ISO standard coarse pitch is 1.5, both 1.25 and 1.0 are considered fine pitches.1.0 Fine thread pitch is what you need for rear axles.
I should have bought a bag of 100x to share...

Standard threading is 1.25 pitch
Only if you're Japanese. ISO standard coarse pitch is 1.5, both 1.25 and 1.0 are considered fine pitches.

Thank you, I have edited my comment - Glad we have you here otherwise I would have bags and bags of useless nuts at home

Bought a SRAM X0 RD as they helpfully list the max. cassette as 36:
https://www.sram.com/sram/mountain/products/x0-rear-derailleur#sm.000005qofrb2d3eycu9iq1sz2uuc1
However looks like this is only for medium/long cage and I purchased short cage, which is actually rated at 28 max (etched on the rear cage).
How conservative are the specs/what max. cassette can I likely get away with? Rating doesn't seem logical compared to other cage lengths - any chance it's just been reduced to avoid people exceeding the wrap capacity?

I'm not sure about Mtb derailleurs, but with road derailleurs max capacity listed is usually what the derailleur can take -2. So a 28 cap derailleur should be fine using 30t Max cog. However this also depends on the rear triangle geometry on your frame. Sometimes same setup will work on one frame but not the other.

Here it is against a 34t cassette. B-screw only half way in so assuming the 28t rating is just to stop people exceeding the wrap capacity.

I suspect a cock up in marking parts used on two different mechs with the spec for the other one. There are two short cage X0 RDs, the XC one which it looks like you have, which will work with a 36T sprocket but only on a 1x set up due to limited total capacity, and the DH one which has a different parallelogram geometry and really will only work with a maximum 28T sprocket.

Have the one I wanted in that case. Thanks for the clarification.

MTB crankset (something like 26/38t) on with a 5800 front mech - would this work together?

would this work
Probably not at all, and if it did it would be horrible.
Ive have 2 of those serrated bolts that came with my primato hubs crack completely in half. I’ve now got those steel bolts in and feel a lot more confident my wheel won’t fall out of the drop outs and roll away down the road without me.
