In there day quiet expensive, around £75rrp, on-one flogged off NOS for around £8Made a brief appearance in the TDF before being banned. Not quiet a TT bar but they do offer an aero position.

I know, i know, it's keepers of the cog an all that, but brief history of the spinacis
http://www.velominati.com/racing/guest-article-spinacis/
They have found favour in bike packing circles as the on-one price (sold out ages ago i belive) made them a great option for handle bar bag carriers on the cheap.

I've got Stash bars. Love em. Just got some Fu Manchu's to try out. Not fitted yet but Stash are definitely a better looking bar.

handle bar bag carriers
How would that look exactly?
-
• #114357
Stash look very similar to the humbert moon bar from sjs which are a tenner cheaper
-

Stash bars are 680mm wide and to my knowledge the only bars that kind of shape in 31.8 diameter.

@Thrust you just lash a drybag with your sleeping bag on top of or underslung from the bars instead of spending £40-60 on a carrier that straps to normal handle bars.
Carrier bags from a supermarket dangling from them would go through the wheel.
There is an ace photo of the WRT of Lidal bags bungeed to handlebars, i belive the rider survived the event :) -

Just built this up for my partner. It's a cheap version of @facsimile Geekhouse. Built around a Genesis CDF frame and parts I had in the shed. I think it came out well and more importantly she loves it.

Took the vanhaelen on a 65k ride to belgium yesterday and i couldn't be happier with its performance. If anyone has a dia compe clamp-on brake for bladed forks, let me know as I'm interested.

Awesome!
As long as you get your hands on the main part of the clamp on brake the different attachments are cheap and quite easy to buy new (round, aero, oval...)

Cheers!
So any clamp-on brake should do. Alternatively, I'd also be interested in a 1 inch threaded fork with a steerer length of 17,8cm minimum. Should be an aggressive road fork or a drilled track fork, colour doesn't matter :)
Cinelli Spinaci bars, according to my old boss they were introduced to the pro-peloton for an extraordinarily short amount of time before being banned due to safety concerns. (People whacking into each other in an aero position because they couldn't reach the brake levers)
