After a fire broke in our apartment building's garage, in which 2 of my bikes caught fire and burnt almost completely, I managed to resuscitate one of them so far, my surly crosscheck, here's the mud max version:
Test ride was great but I still need to source some nicer skewers, grips and more importantly a sram gxp left crank, the carbon burnt a bit too much and it began to flake.
More pics here..

Risky way to make a rat.
Sorry for the loss of your other two rides. -

Quite literally risen from the ashes. That's some story. Sorry to read about the fire.

Like I said...
Will buy some fancier finishing kit when my bank balance recovers.
That will probably just be a carbon seatpost though. Stem is fine. Christmas is not the best time to build bikes.
Fit is fine - reach is exactly the same as my Cervelo, with slightly less stack - plus the seat tube is 1.5cm shorter. Something about the photo angle makes it look like I've got a meter of seatpost out.
Worked out a while ago that (due to various injuries) I'm much happier shorter and lower than flat and long (except for racing).
Did 130km on it in the Welsh mountains yesterday - it's lovely.

bullshit. Deda make good stuff. I've always been happy with their kit. It's not better or worse than 3t, Ritchey, etc.
To be honest, getting snobby about finishing kit is the most retarded thing ever - it's all the same shit, manufactured in the same places with different logos (unless you're buying handmade Moots stuff). I suspect this is just some weak trolling on your part though.

I got promoted :)
I don't have room for loads of bikes, so I've just decided to own fewer, nicer bikes..

Fair enough, it looks a bit small for you

Needs a sweet frame pump and ti Tubus rack for full points.
-
• #111844
And proper flaps!
-
• #111845
Yes - that is on the list. What pump/flaps are you rocking? I have admired your flaps on Instagram..
-
• #111846
Everyone's talking about JB's flaps. I must see them.
-
• #111847
JB's flaps bring all the boiz to the yard...
Quick build up of the Hellas, needs a few essentials (rear wheel nuts, proper seat clamp bolt/nut, new rear tyre, bar ends) also want to find either a cheap clean front wheel with a 7600 hub (rear is 7600) or rebuild the front suzue into a clean rim with silver spokes non-radial.
