What fork is it?
Steerer could have cracked, with the internal expanding wedge thing forcing the crack open. Might be interested in fork (depending on what it is, and potential damage, assuming chopping it down a bit [for use on a smaller frame] might resolve the problem).

This is what I'm feeling, I can probably count on one hand how many times I used the drops during my last two week tour.

Combo suggestions would be much appreciated. I'm thinking about the Surly Moloko, but not sure how it will look.

I'm not willing to accept that it doesn't fit me, so as long as I change my criteria then everything is still ok.

I thought about that, but 1 that TT length on the 60 :/ but a shorter st length would look a bit odd. also Ive been riding it for years, fancy a change.

BLB AF-01 nothing fancy.... on the 60cm frame though so lots of scope for chopping down for a shorter rider I guess.

Still interested... Let me know what it's like when you take it apart and take a closer look :-)

nice! positive angle stems are so much better than a 2 inch stack of spacers. Good job!

However, judging from your bar position, you could have gone with a bigger fame.

Thanks. 25.2 apparently. Came with the frame so didn't have the job of measuring and sourcing fortunately.

Don't know where to post this question, but has anyone ever fitted a 24" fork to 700c frame for a faux lo-pro? Would it work? Just curious.

Didn't you have some Mavic 3g trispokes?

Wouldn't be good for BB height, geom or handling I'd imagine. Would also 100% look crap. Avoid.
