Do you actually need a rack?

No opportunity to shower sometimes when I arrive so stops a sweaty back. Also sometimes have two changes of clothes and multiple pairs of shoes, which dont fit in my bag. I have the fidusa for going fast and the orlo for off road, so dont mind making this heavy and shit for winter commuting

take off the atacs, put on clips and straps then ride slower so you don't get sweaty. Just sayin'
Your forks are drilled though so get a proper rack instead of that basil POS.

Spent a few hours in the Fista cave with @bankiren over the weekend and threw this bastard together. It was originally a road frame converted with track ends and respaced to 120mm. This is the first incarnation with a few space holders. It'll be running fixed untill I get a some other parts I need. The master plan is to respace it to 130mm, weld disc tabs and a hanger on it and use it as a shit weather lock up bike. Fenders and a front rack will happen too. So far @bankiren changed the headtube to a 1 1/8 one in like 20 minutes (!) and I took off the brake bridge. Fits 38mm tires easily now & theres room for fenders too. All good so far. It's still work in progress but you get the idea.

Matchy matchy chainring bolts can >>>>>>>>>>>>>
Rode it in this morning. Wasn't as bad as I expected once you're moving but I did really have to slow down for corners. Not being used to the weight (especially once it was loaded up) made avoiding potholes and glass very difficult but managed not to puncture
