Have seen on the gram, looks good! Personally I would go for a lower profile rack though.

Yeah same here, probably look around for a tubus fly or something similar on that line.

Haha! Thanks! I've been very lazy and not really keeping her clean but she is still running like a well engineered german train! =)

In all seriousness I would get whatever rack gets the panniers to sit lower down, as I reckon it'll improve handling.

I just got a cheap front rack, cut off the tabs so that they were right length for the back, bashed the rods flat and re-drilled - fit and functional.

Got this for cheaps to replace the hinault which turned out to be crashed after all. Saw front tire come too close to down tube for comfort on a descent. Will be transferring parts straight across, ie 9sp ultegra group.

In need of an expander plug that will fit a 22mm inside diameter carbon steerer tube of a 1" Mizuno fork. Also really daunting task to find a 1 1/8" spacer with a small (+-32mm) outside diameter.
Anybody have any tips?

That's pretty special. Black modern components would look sick.

I've used these on a look hsc fork and on a thick steerer ID'd alpina wing fork.

my newly build cdf725 aka daily commuter and soon for the bike trailer . better seatpost is on the way, rim decals will be removed, different stem lengths are also here, will play with the rigth set-up before i do better pictures.
first shot around the corner ride was great although it's the most heavy bike i own (12.45kg). -

Buy some from me. I have spacer packs containing a set 1mm+2mm+4mm+8mm with an OD of 31.8mm.

Also had a long search for 1" carbon steerer expander bungs (mine has ID of 20.5mm). cnc-bike offers one to fit forks with ID of 20.5 to 25mm for 8 Euro, hopefully it will fit my fork without imprecise sanding.
EDIT: If I don't manage to fit it right, I will get someone from technical university to machine me an insert alla @mdcc_tester

Agree. No money for it atm. Depending on how I like it I might very well throw some cash at it later though.
A few minor updates to my daily workhorse:
Overall small adjustments with this bike has definitely made it more comfortable and enjoyable to ride from and to work. Possible future upgrades will probably include a new chainset, pannier bags that can actually hold stuff and deep rim (for the bling affect..obz)
