I was thinking about building something to exactly this spec! That looks absolutely amazing, can't wait to see it finished. What kinda tyre clearance you got?

enve gives 47mm or 2.0" in 650b for the fork and orlowski around 45mm in the rear, but I'd say i could fit 47mm in the rear also.

Although its a great build i'd suggest to make your mind up and avoid sliding dropout/ebb/rocker.
Remember 1x10 is new fixed gear, insta likes > actual miles etc

Looks brilliant.
What are the wheels?
-
• #104308
the wheels were supposed to be kind of temporary but havent bothered buying flashy ones yet :-)
they are wtb superlite disc hubs into syncros something something 29er rims with revo spokes. Nothing amazing, got them quite cheap from our finnish forum.
next summer I got my sights on a hope/novatec - dt revo - stan grail's

I'd go for a 1 by something over sliding dropouts. I'll probably build the frame myself, so that's more for ease than anything else.

Anyone got a suggestion for best risers for a Jag? I would go Nitto but I've seen negative comments about their risers
-
• #104316
negative comments ?
Witch ones ? it's expensive , mainstream, 2010?A riser is heavy or not the shape is straight or anatomical...

Extraordinary frame and fantastic build. I can't get over that frame though. The tubing, welds, colour, decals and all the details. Absolutely stunning. Have fun with it mate.

Modern Track project has begun. Put wheels on to test geo, but the front one is staying.
First aluminium proper track frame, not massively sure on what components to chose, am after a fsa vigorelli, however I might get some rotors..
What pista stem can people personally recommend?(around 90-100mm) should I go carbon? Fizik Volta saddle? Sorry if I seem noob right now but tbh I'm not actually used to so much choice...

One which joins your steerer to your bars in the right position, which may or may not be a "pista" stem. Steerer looks like it has been cut a bit short, so you might benefit from one of my upper bearing covers to get it to poke through the stem.
should I go carbon?
No, unless you want to pretend you need one of the ridiculously stiff and heavy ones like the Pro or Look HSD*
*guilty as charged

Not backing that fork anyway so may as well swap it for something more awesome (and straight)
so pretty
