I feel almost relaxed.
Is (soon to be) Mrs Dandy feeling the same way?

I actually quite liked the brake levers, they give a flat-ish transition to the hoods with old large radius handlebar bends. The gear levers were terrible.

Added this Carrera to my nineties racing stable (fluted Nivacrom tubing). Needs to be dismantled and build up again as I'm thinking of putting higher end components on it (there's a Campa Daytona on it but think I'll change to Record).

Because they were 4 pounds on planet x, it was tempting to see how risers feel like, which for me was flattering at the beginning, and a bit disconcerting after a couple of days.
Back to good old drops for the beater!

Thanks, @rive_gauche and @veLLo
just a bit of a sad thing the former owner tried to mask the rustspots on the chromed forks (front ànd rear) by... spraying them with silvergrey paint. Maybe even worse: he tried to touch up some of the damage (nothing more than some scratches and smaller chips) with god nows what. I could remove it with some acetone but I'm afraid one day or another I'll have to have the spraying redone. But I think it's a "good find", these fluted Carrera frames are rather rare. Will take some close up pictures of it, the frame has some nice details.

Dropped off my All-City Nature boy to LMNH to get it built, looks like summer has arrived with the amount of people flooding that place's workshop, usually it would take them a day to get everything sorted. Now I have to wait till Tuesday to ride the new gal! =(
