Very, very good. Those steel campy posts are excellent. light too!

Omniums? :S
Look too chunky and brutish on that slender steel sleuth of a bike.
This is a fucking delicious build btw, you just get extra harsh criticism because you're at god mode current projects level

I'm thinking about bags etc to avoid rucksacks for my general commuting / runaround Condor. Rear rack and pannier the best option? Only mudguard eyelets and a track rear axle. Would be interested to hear advice. The Carradice on the front is great for lock, jacket, phone, but wont carry much more than that.

Carradice SQR system with a saddle bag of choice.

Speedplay chromo.Kicking around in the parts bin. Amazed at how heavy they are, actually. It was feeling pretty floaty until they, and the chain, went on.
I have an SRM lined up for it, but I wasn't sure of the compatibility with the new 109mm axle, but now it's gone together I reckon it's a pretty simple job of getting it to play nice.
Just need some legs now - can I borrow yours, pls?

You know what to do...
My legs aren't anything special, it's my aeros you want.

• #101964
It's all relative - your four hour power seems to be my FTP, and I'm not sure you weigh that much more than me.
But yah I'll have the aeros too, pls
I'm feeling lazy - where does one acquire those axles?

Or you might get lucky on an auction pair like I did

Finished a Razesa for a friend, he bought it back in 90'. Pretty happy with how it came out, found some Cratoni Columbus forks and put on some polished up old shimano 600 tricolor bits and bobs

would look 1000x better if the bars were parallel to the ground and levers lifted up a bit
-
• #101973
Or just get some modern bars.

Or just get some modern brake levers.
ftfy.
Lower bar, move brake levers higher and it's sorted.
That position make it even longer to reach the brake levers.

Perhaps the rider prefers to be comfortable when riding on the drops, rather than pander to some arbitrary "rule".
The levers could do with being moved up the bars, to make them easier to use when in the hooks though.
It is nice, however, to see a bike with the brakes sensibly cabled; although I would have left the front brake outer a little longer (and taped the bars all the way to the shim), so that the cables cross in front of the headtube.
But that's a cosmetic point, the important thing is that the rider will reap the functional benefits of the builder's choice.
:)
