  • ..... they were much darker in real life, and cooked just right.....

Thought as much. You don't strike as a man who would accept such a chip.

As mrs Brave is away I foresee a week of filthy frozen food meals...

  • no tomato sauce take away his passport

There is only one tommy sauce in my life now.. FTW

Nice one, I don't touch undercooked food. I don't even rate rare steak that much, I prefer well done...

Frozen food is alright, I don't usually eat it but those chips and sozzies were da fuckin bomb !

  • Sainsbury's, frozen ones like 40 in a bag for under £2. Surprisingly nice.

are they actually labelled as sausages or something like bangers... I'm questioning the actual meat content.

    these them?

Although I was trippin, that one time... ;-)

  • each to their own..
    Me. Steak. Blue.
    Even better Steak Tartare.

  • Oh yeah, steak >beef > bloody > blue > always.

  • Kind of curious about steak tartare... never tried but watched Wall Street the other day and couldn't help but feel my taste buds tempted.

  • When it's done well with top grade beef and crispy, crispy chips it's the fucking business. First meal I always have when we go back to France.

  • CYOA, there's another option not quite like the beef Tartare,
but since you live in Clapton too,
    why not try this, here?...
Well worth money (cheap as chips).
*It's called steak on the stone.

  • Oh. My. God..

  • That looks flipping awesome.

  • Yep, you're given a really hot stone and a raw piece of beef. then you work your shit out.

  • And that's 15min from your front door. Leyton.
A full meal will be under 20, with wine.

  • pop

  • I'm all over that. I've heard of Oceano a few times actually, on and off the forum. It's going on 'The List'.

  • I'm considering now... should I go to Leyton...hmmm?

  • Whoa, nice one. WANT !!

  • it would be worth a trip to Leyton..

  • oh my god. I thought I was hungry before but now..

  • :D MAx, get your shit ready. We're off to Leyton.
