  • Curry goat is awesome, recipes for the marinade are pretty easy to find on the net... You need to leave the meat to marinade for at least 24hrs... You can buy pre-cut curry goat in Brixton Market tho' I can really recommend the new south American butchers on Atlantic Road (opposite The Baron), they have little goat cutlets at £4 per kilo... Delicious, more meat and way less fat than you get on curry goat which does need quite a bit of trimming sometimes... Seriously, slow cook that shit... You can't go wrong... Nom...

  • sounds like lunch. cheers joe.

  • weeps

  • oooh! recipe please!

    Its piss easy:

    • Line what ever you are cooking it in butter (unsalted)
    • Cover the bottom in sliced banana
    • Sprinkle said banana's in cinnamon (I used a slightly heaped tea spoons worth), I also drizzled a bit of honey over for extra flavour.
    • then add the batter and cook for 30mins at 250c and dont open the oven though as it wont rise properly

The batter is very easy, basically yorkshire pudding mix but with sugar.

    • 285ml/ 1/2pt of milk
    • 115g/4oz of flour
    • 3 medium eggs
    • 115g/4oz sugar
I actually put less sugar than this in because the banana's very ripe and sweet, but traditionally you make clafoutis with whole black cherries. So if sometimes I make the batter a bit sweeter to combat overly sharp cherries.
  • What do you think my house is, Waitrose?

mine is, unashamedly darlings, I didnt dig holes in the roads of Blackpool for 10 years to not get to shop there every day
