What benefit is there for even slow cooking a jar of processed sauce, it probably warms up in about 5 minutes.

Sounds good, got a recipe?

Also, the slow cooker part doesn’t see much use as the pressure cooker part is so effective and actually makes things taste better than 8 hours slow cooking in an hour or less.

Risotto (excellent), Thai soup (also excellent), tomato and chickpea stew (average but I made up the recipe with stuff that needed using up, chilli (awesome) butter chicken (excellent) and chicken stock (excellent).
I can give numbers out of ten if you prefer.
Got some beef rib trim to cook tomorrow!

Pressure cookers can do that to people. -

Yeah I got a pressur cooker (you need to regularly check the pressure release valve is working, although I think the first symptom of it not working is le exploded kitchen) but they're jizzing their keks about some fancy model aren't they?

Popes Road Cash & Carry is excellent, pretty much the only place I’ve found achiote seeds for making pibil. They have tasty plantain too, better than other places. Hot tip: in summer they start making their own ice pops and the cheese & guava one is peng.
Scouting report plz.
