Was craving burger tonight, so I made one:
Beef burger with smoked bacon, truffle pecorino, sautéed mushrooms, fried red onion, on ciabatta bread, toasted and spread with mayonnaise mixed with tumeric and cumin powder.
Served with "fries" made of polenta mixed with sage.
Paired with an outstanding imperial IPA from Storm & Regen down in Netherland.
Was epic.
Square plate. Square bread. Square burger.

Could we do it before the BDW funeral? Or too soon?

DOiT!
I do that as well. Stick the freezerbag in a bowl of cold water and it will almost completely defrost in 10-15 minutes.
