  • Brown sugar, lemon zest, sea salt, freshly ground black pepper. Use it as a rub and let sit for a couple of hours before preparing in hot pan with oil. Eat with some steamed buttered broccoli and rice with lemon zest and cilantro stirred in.

  • Oh yes, think I know the one. Will defo pay it a visit.

  • Think I just invented buffalo thighs.

    *hnnnnnnnng!

  • Ok, turns out I didn't invent them but I did make and eat them.

  • Ooh, I had thighs too... Made a quick porchetta marinade, let the chicken thighs sit in it for an hour then chucked them on the griddle pan... Amazing... Had them with grilled corn and coleslaw...

  • Sound good man. I had mine in Frank's Hot Sauce and ate it at the counter with shame.

  • Also sounds awesome, what a great breakfast... šŸ˜‹

  • look at it.

  • You missed my squared plates, I can tell

  • Strawberries and prawns.

    Strawberries...and prawns

  • yes, this is 2016, get with it, daddio..

  • Ahhhh fish and strawberries!! Get in the sea!!

  • Every now and again I like to do a coriander crust

  • You should try..

I've done worse tbh, salmon and mango, halibut and oranges.. I think I'll try something with peaches when the season kicks in!

  • I don't eat fish or seafood, but the others I can kind of understand.

Something about strawberries and prawns though, I can't compute.

  • I tried to find the 'round cheese'.

There was round Bulgarian cheese, round Bulgarian cheese with only Bulgarian writing on, round Romanian cheese, and three types of round Turkish cheese. The one that looked the likeliest was a big Turkish one, but it was pretty big so I didn't want to gamble.

    CSB.

  • I'm sorry buddy, but if you don't eat seafood I struggle to understand how you can express yourself about, especially about taste combinations..

  • yeah but... prawnberries...

  • I too struggle. Struggle with your prawn berries.

  • peach salsa (red onion, chili, coriander, lime juice) and seared tuna work quite well

served on a square plate obvsly

  • I know, I understand where you are coming from. Tried strawberries and prawns in a creamy pasta sauce and I was prepared to hate it. Tasted amazing.

  • I understand the struggle, it sounds wrong and the flavours are wrong, it shouldn't work but it does.

  • Yeah, mango or something like that goes really well in some fish dishes...

    Strawberries? Nope...

  • I'm sorry buddy, but if you don't eat seafood I struggle to understand how you can express yourself about, especially about taste combinations..

+1 - sounds wrong, tastes unexpectedly good, hence the recipes on the internets
