  • South of San Francisco there is a Korean place that serves giant ice cold beers and small, salty foods.

    The best thing they had was a collection of baby octopusses on skewers and grilled. I always felt guilty as per above (I still ate them though[ I eat meat now though so I probably wouldn't anymore ]).

    Dudes, I guarantee pigs are more intelligent than octopusen. If this then that etc.

    Skewers:

    • Chargrilled broccoli (or romanesco), lime shiso dressing, caramel peanut crunch.
    • Aromatic yuzu kosho chicken thigh meatball, tare glaze, shichimi togarashi, lime wedge, spring onion.
    • Tare glazed 10hr pork belly, pear kimchi, spring onion tail and lime.

    Specials:

    • Korean Dragon glaze baby back pork ribs, caramel peanut crunch, spring onion, sansho, lime.
    • Dehydrated Pork Skin, Shio Koji marinated Fried Chicken, Korean Wing Sauce (TBC)


    BTW - this is happening at Streetfeast at Battersea Power Station.

  • Used to go to Dragon Castle when I was a student at LSBU, don't know who I thought I was.. I need to go back asap.

  • Mrs Hell's mum was not entirely dismissive of the place and its food and even said their cheung fun was almost as good as what she gets back home. for that reason alone it gets a 5 star pass.

    First food in LA was a sandwich from Fat Sal's deli, bacon, chicken strips, mozzarella fingers, fries, fried egg, more cheese, tonnes of sauce.

    Crazy.

  • TS please list some places to eat in Lisbon as I may well be visiting there in a few weeks. Not a big fan of seafood though.
