Moro or Morito for the Mrs' birthday dinner?
You can now book at Morito so I suggest Morito for a quick new interesting tapas and drinks then straight through to Moro for mains and pudding

Banana bread. Waiting for it to cool then I will ice with cream cheese frosting, I'll be popular at work tomorrow.
my banana bread always turns out much darker than this, any less time in the oven though and it's not done in the middle. it's perplexing to me :-/

Hatbeard get an oven thermometer - the numbers on the dial do not bear much resemblance to reality.

Scrambled egg though. It drives me nuts when people scramble them to within an inch of their lives.
Just break the yolks, people, and stir gently and occasionally over a low heat.
Enjoy the varying textures. If you want homogeneity, buy powdered eggs.

Just bottled a batch of apple brandy. Cheap brandy, enough chopped apples to fill your kilner jar, cinnamon stick and a bit of honey. Incredibly drinkable, and you get a load of alcohol apple chunks to eat through
