  • I still can't get it that they thought it was a sensible idea to call a Spanish restaurant Moro and Morito, regardless of the Andalucian influence and the Moorish influence.

    Morito in Spanish is as much of a deregotary term as the N word, for that single reason I won't be going.

  • Tim Anderson's new project, Nanban, are doing a preview on 14th Feb. Got 2 tickets. Here's the menu:

    I tweeted Tim as I bought 2 tickets then remembered my girlfriend is veggie and he said he'd make a veg menu for those who asked for it.

    Also - Ramen is truly popping off in London now right?! Awesome.

  • I follow him and Nanban on Twitter, missed out on the first preview, they announced a second one so I just bought tickets without thinking. Yeah there was an interview with Tim somewhere recently and he was saying he's late to the London ramen party. Quite excited about this.

  • Bao will definitely follow if its anything like NYC. Also predictions - Hand Pulled Noodles, Muslim Chinese Food, Poutine, Hip Jewish Deli food and every menu in Dalston having either a Kale, Wild Leek (Ramps) or Brussel Sprout dish on the menu.
