Tiffin chilling in the fridge.
250g various chopped biscuits (I used ginger nuts, shortcake and chocolate fingers)
250g fruit and nuts (pistachios, dried cranberries, walnuts, hazlenuts, glace cherries)
300g milk and dark chocolate melted with 140g golden syrup and 100g butter
grease and line a 20cm square tin, chuck biscuit and nut mixture in, pour melted chocolate mixture over, make sure it gets in all the cracks.
chill in fridge for at least 2 hours.will post a pic when it's done.

I think I may not have to actually 'cook' anything until the end of January now. The freezer is full of home made goodness.
However, I think once I get back from Chester/Lake District then BACON JAM might have to be made.
(It deserves the capitals, it's bacon jam! FFS!)

Anyone have recommendations for a one-day cookery class in London? I saw the E5 Bakehouse bread class looks interesting, I was thinking Mrs. Pharoah might like a day out cooking and eating (and learning a little) might make a decent gift since she enjoys cooking/baking. What have you done/recommend?
