Might have to take a trip down there then if they're that good, are they worth however much they cost?
-
• #10381

Made veggie pasties. They weren't best sealed but they tasted great. Hmm, leftover pastry now though, I think that means pudding. -

Went to that SAF place mentioned somewhere.
Puddings- fucking ace. Rest, a bit meh. Still was a nice treat.
My recommendation- go to the Whole Foods downstairs and pick up a set of the deserts for £3 each (I can safely say the butternut squash raw cheesecake is incredible) and take them home and enjoy with someone special. -

I just thoroughly embarrassed myself by ordering pancakes and bacon at The Breakfast Club. The embarrassment lay in the fact that instead of two rashers and maybe two pancakes, there was a whole pack of bacon on the plate and three FAT pancakes. Drenched in maple syrup. I simply couldn't eat it all. :(

Definitely going to have to check that place out. I love maple syrup and bacon and pancakes

They're my best things. But it was just too much! For 6.50 as well. I'd struggle to find that much bacon for 6.50.

Meanwhile, behind the façade of this innocent looking bookstore.....
Orange and walnut cake with cinnamon crumb topping is out of the oven and cooling. Desert done. Maple glazed king oyster mushrooms served on with smoked cheese filled crepes and a sage cream sauce is on the cards for dinner later.

I love The Breakfast Club. Always horrified by their prices until I realise how much you get. I've never been defeated by anything there yet, but then I am a vegetarian
