  • (2 days late, but...)
    Switzerland??? Really?

  • Yes the results from Tuesday are baffling

  • Czech Republic closing it with a banger. They got my vote.

  • Bit disappointed that Georgia didn't make it through. Pretty much all the finalists have done a really good job of singing so far though, maybe the staging problems have meant that flashy presentation hasn't had a chance to outdo musicality?

  • Agreed. Obsessed with it. Perfect mid-noughties euro electropop. Reminded me of something Royksopp might have done.

  • Ukraine a shoein for tonight? Must be.. I think the sweepstake is going to have to be for 2nd.

I wonder if we'll avoid last as recognition for supporting them, or whether ol'Patel & Truss have done enough damage?

Can't wait, love a bit of Eurovision!! Hope Norton's on the beers already.

  • UK/Sam Ryder for second say the bookies with Sweden/Cornelia Jakobs in third.

Think I'd probably vote for Sweden if my evil partner had checked the date when she said we were available for dinner tonight. Some of the other people have cried off with 'covid'. Yeah right...

  • Hope Norton's on the beers already.

    Not until song 9

  • I'm on the beers, little brother is rustling us up a curry and there is a decent amount of Mezcal for dessert.
    Roll on the noise!

  • Here we go

  • Cracking start this.

  • Strong start to proceedings

  • I've got the subtitles on, hoping for some hilarious mis timed or translated words.

  • Not a fan of this Portugal entry as a Eurovision song.

  • But a nice song to itself? I liked it.

  • Yeah I liked the song but just not a strong Eurovision contender.

A shock return of The Rasmus is a curveball I didn’t expect though.

  • France grew on me as it went on

  • YES Norway. This is more like it.

  • Armenia's song appears to be about a snap election last year.

Why did no one sing about ours in 2017 with a "Maybot" dance to go with it?

  • Good to see jamiroquai is still getting work

  • I enjoyed Germany, I'm putting it 2nd after Czech, just above Norway.

  • Lithuania making strong moves though. The hair is holding me back from top 3.

  • Moldova is my fav

  • Belgium has real Bond film vibes.

  • It’s not a strong year all round I don’t think
