it depends what the athletes attitude is like, if they are like the aussy cricket team who are the worst winners and losers when it comes to post (and pre) match comments.
then i love to see them get beaten and laugh at the crap they come out with afterward.

i think their swimmer who retired early (can't remember his name) was a sound bloke who just got on with swimming instead of talking shite.

i'll cheer anyone who's got the right attitude towards sport (which is why i never liked the shoemaker feller who drove cars)
