  • Nice.
    Especially dig the Untitled one.

  • Mental Hospital

  • Not sure if it's been posted but I'd love to see another slide film come out not to mention what might be next.

  • ..nice!!

  • I've got a roll of cinestill on the go at the moment. Might take my camera to work for the next few days to try and finish it. Anyone on here shot a roll yet?

  • Shot about 3 but ended up throwing them in the low priority box as more pressing stuff came up. Still not had them processed.

  • Anyone on here shot a roll yet?

Shot one roll in a dimly lit bar and with mixed-light portaits (which turned out nice),
got another roll in a camera right now, for weeks, and having a hard time finishing that one,
as maybe I think to hard on really finding the "right" conditions to shoot that material.
May as well say fuck it and finish it in bright autumn light outside; just remembered that they tell you to get it dev'd as soon as possible..

  • ..remember the Pentax MV I posted, with the shutter that looked like it was hit by a truck, and that still gave me 90% great exposure on the first test-roll?

..well it would have been too good to be true; now I'm down to like 40%, sometimes it's minor to major light-leaks, and some other times it's really fucking up, like this -

    : /

  • Apparently if you overexpose it a stop or two in daylight you can get nice colours (but too much overexposure and it gets ugly).

I'd definitely like to try it in 120 but the kickstarter doesn't look too promising...

  • In dodgy camera news my gr1 pulled a film right out of the cartridge the other day and it sounded louder/rougher than normal with the next one I put in. Anyone experienced or heard about this being a thing with them?

  • anyone know where I can get small sized prints like 4cm by 4cm and 5 1/2 cm by 5 1/2cm?
Found some old photo fridge magnets that I brought ages ago and want to populate them with some photo's.
Had a quick look at photobox and a couple of others and they only do standard print sizes 5x7, 6x4 etc, nothing that small.

    Any ideas let me know

  • Make your image the correct size, place on a white border and then cut down the prints?

  • @IR, don't mind doing that, just seems most of the websites take negs/scans and just print them the appropriate size.

  • During a sleepless night I ended up shooting loads of bike bits. Got one roll scanned and the rest with the other parts soon to come.

  • Nice greys!

    : ]

  • A few from a recent holiday in Crete, my AE-1 died after taking the last one of these - but a T90 arrived in the post today :)
Scans are just crap ones from the printer at work i'm afraid!

  • @tina.kino, thanks! expect some more soon.

Starting my dissertation today, anyone have any recommendations on night photographers?
Anyone/thing that isn't brassaï, brandt, sugimoto, moriama, eckersley?

Even structural, architectural, geometrical photographers would be good :-)

  • @BigH petersen, ackerman, d'agata, aue sobol
    among many other night photographers.
and do not forget about weegee, the guy with a graflex and a big cigar.

  • Not sure if it's limited just to those who shoot film, but if not Rut Blees Luxemburg is great imo.

  • Love weegee's stuff, so dark.

..so these are scans of the prints, right?
They may lack some sharpness, but colours are very very nice...

  • .

  • Next one is a bit flawed due to light leak but I thought the colours were interesting.
Ektar in the autumn sun, with polarization filter -

    Ektar 100 - Pentax-M 28 / 3.5

  • Ektar 100 - Pentax-M 50 / 1.7
