That's the T4NY4, I'm looking for the regular T4.
You get an NY4 for free, what are you waiting for?

I like.
Colours in the 2nd one are very nice.
Would all benefit from smaller DOF I think.
Tyre looks almost flat in 1st pic... : ]

Finally tried a roll of Ektar 100 in my Pentax 645.
The colours looked a bit nuts when I scanned them in, but with a bit of white balance adjusting in lightroom I'm pretty pleased with the resultsStill love Portra though...

Seen those on tumblr, they're fantastic.
Got a couple rolls to put up - one Fuji Superia and one Ektar both put through the T4.
Can't upload them though as I'm currently enjoying East Coast Rail's attempt at wifi. 15 mins of access has let me open 2 web pages. Incredible. -

I quite like it after some colour correction though, but I guess I wasn't using it for what it is intended for

well, if that girl would have been wearing grey / monocrome clothing and did hot have these colourful streaks in her hair,
the pictures would definately be a bit less "nuts", colour-wise... -

The road was purple when I initially scanned the negatives though

Guess it's partly the scanning then.
I'd try setting grey points on her jewellery. -

Hello again , sorry need a bit more help/advice . So my pentax Me super is working fine and the shutter opens but it appears to get stuck in the open position and only closes if you tap the camera. Any tips ? Repair ? Repair shops?
Many thanks

...tap it? Is the mirror staying open? This happens with old SLRs, and is fixable (serviceable).
Sorry, I have no advive, but I'm sure some here can at least recommend a repair guy if you wait a bit.

Can I please bump this -
Sorry if this has been covered already,
but can anyone point me to a good site where I can learn about Yashica's T3 / T3 SUPER & T4 etc. please...I'm looking to replace the Olympus Mju-ll; it has some strange light leaks, and I often thought "hmm this could be more sharp".
So, often when I saw pics of Yashica T's I thought "this is what I need".I thought I'm good at googling, but I can't seem to find a proper site, where I can learn about the differences of the various T-models.
Or does anyone have another suggestion (in the sub-150 price range) for a nice, sharp, 35mm film camera?

Thanks, yea I saw these.
As you mentioned, this is basically spec lists.I'm looking for something like a comparison between the models, usability wise.
Like, I read one "remembers" flash being set to off, others don't etc. Can't believe there isn't a comprehensive site of the T family, like diaxa.com for the Olympus XA family,
given the cult status / popularity of the Yashica T's... -

Buy them all > compare them > create website > win the interwebz

If you paypal me the funds, I will!
In the meantime I will probably opt for a T3, as the others are quite expensive
(wonder if this is due to Richardson followers, or because it's actually "better").... -

Started using my 35Ti again and I think I prefer it to the ricohs, even though it's a bit bigger it just feels like it works more nicely and exposes so well all the time.

Lowest price I've seen on eBay for a while. Go for it before I do.
-
• #7772
..you go ahead (I'm not in the UK)..
Thanks for the heads up though!

I shouldn't. What I really want to do is swap my Contax T2 for a Yashica T4. If anyone's game?
