Jebus. Those are all incredible. How have you found lugging a camera on climbing trips, out of interest?
Again, wow. -

My XA and XA2 regularly come with me, also my MJU II. Everything else, significantly less so. If it doesn't fit in a pocket while climbing, it's not really that useful. Well actually, I often take a lot of cameras out with me on trips but it's just smaller convenient cameras that get the most use.
I'll drag my RB67 to the crag but only if it's not a long walk. I'm planning on picking up something smaller like a TLR of some sort.
My OM1 with 3 lenses is pretty versatile and isn't too big but will always stay in a bag more often than a small pocketable camera.

all great but I can't get enough of that first one

Almost didn't post it because the scan is so crap - look at the grid pattern in the blacks left of the climber.

Can't really see it on the terrible monitor I'm looking at right now, I'll just try to avoid looking at it on a decent one then.

Have you thought of Rolleiflex?
I know they're not exactly small (but they're light), and you'd get pretty rad quality..
Oh yes, they are a bit expensive.. -

that cloudy sunset is incredible dude!

When it happened me and my mate both sprinted out the car at the nearest vantage point and shot like crazy. You never really get more than 5-10 mins of light like that.
Definitely worth stopping for.

Just been down to the post office to pick up my super ebay score polaroid back for the RB67. Fella included one pack of film with it and I used the last 5 minutes of my dinner hour chasing the cat around the garden. Awful photos, but an incredibly exciting process. I've been listening to podcasts and interviews with pro photographers and they all talk about that excitement they got in the darkroom when they developed their first prints. Haven't tried that yet, but it sounds pretty similar to the fun of pulling out the instant film and peeling back the strip to see how your picture came out.

the strip you pull back has loads of colour on it, stick it to a page in a book / notebook and apply pressure, and you'll get another print, though faded

Never shot a single polaroid, definitely need to rectify that.
Nefarious, easy or not to shoot they are still awesome to see.

Does anybody on here have something to say about Canon T70 / Canon T70 with the 244T speedlight in particular.
My FD body broke.. looking for a cheap, light & good body to be able to further use my 50mm *f*1.4 basically.

Cheers,
I'm just preparing myself for the inevitable disappointment when I get my latest rolls back - they're unlikely to be very interesting by comparison. -
• #6393
I just shot 4-5 rolls around the Gower, never getting anything I like from 35mm at the minute.
Did just get a pretty decent tax rebate though, new camera time!

Anyone else watching these Kickstarter projects.
Travelwide - 4x5 camera. I chipped in on this and am looking forward to getting one.
Enfojer - portable enlarger.
The new Fuji Instax mini-90 looks interesting but I hope they do a wide version.

Oh yes, they are a bit expensive..I used to have a Yashica-mat 124D and it was fantastic. Getting a bit spenny now but still much better value than a rollei. Built in meter was quite good too.

That's wicked. Love how you've just totally jumped in the deep end with shooting on film.
Makes me really want a polaroid back.

Yup, love that polaroid too :-)

A few I took at the UCI Junior World Track Champs last month, bit late but only just got my darkroom sorted in the new flat
