  • ..they are selling for close to €100,- in good condition over here,

    Shiiiiiit! HURRIEDLY LISTS ON EBAY

  • I'm very tempted.

Does anybody know any good labs in Bristol?

    Photographique are good : http://www.photographique.co.uk/bristolstore.php

  • taken with Olympus 35RC

  • that's nice

  • Fuji superia 100?

  • Cheers, cant remember what film, just cheap as chips film from boots. got another roll to get developed, Kodak BW400cn

    nice little camera the 35RC

  • What the fuck have you done to the paint on the hood of that car?

nothing, a hard life and 168k have started to melt her aha.

  • What I'm leaving the house with atm (people wo did not read it in here can guess the cameras, haha),
all loaded with the same cheap 200 iso colour film right now.
It's a pain, drugstores over here are apparently phasing out good film.
Last year I got BW400CN with no problem, one or two good slide films, and one chain just started selling the Ektar for really cheap!
This year it's mostly their 'own' brands cheap C41 film, sometimes Agfa APX (sw), rarely BW400cn, sometimes Agfa precisa CT (E6),
and that's about it. Only alternative are dedicated photo joints and ebay; both being expensive of course..

  • Xa of some sort on the left, Mju II on the right, no idea about the massive guy!

  • ^^ Looks like a jawa from here.

  • Canon case 'mould'. Doesn't seem to generate dust or spread to anything else, but so far appears impossible to cure.

    (Yours looks worse than mine...)

  • Someone who knows about this stuff please - can this be a polaroid?? thanks

  • Polaroids can be big.

  • That 20x24 polaroid is still kicking I think

Well, yeah it distributes white-ish little flakes on dark jackets etc.
To be honest, at the moment I just leave that bottom part of the case on the camera,
as the seals are really worn and it isn't perfectly light-tight without.

    XA-1 and Mju-II, yes, and a Canon AE-1.
Which is 30+ years old, and apparently has died on me just yesterday.
Took 6-7 pictures no problem, then adjusted the ISO to trick the light meter for another situation,
and the sound of the shutter of a longer exposure (1/15) sounded rather short, and strange, incomplete,
like the mirror went up and not down again (but it did).
Tried everything I could think of, to no avail. No knocks, no water, no nothing, light meter works fine etc -
it just behaves like it is not wound-up (?) - which it isn't - as you can't, due to 'incomplete' shutter procedure, so to say.
Sorry, my english is not awake yet.

    Anyway this sucks.

Some sell in similar condition for £40 but they include the original carry case, unfortunately that never came into my possession when i purchased this (part of a job lot)

  • Sorry if this is a reep

  • Does anybody know any good labs in Bristol?

Peter Larkin at Bristol Cameras near St Nick's Market is excellent, I've been going there for three years or so and the prints (and the service) have always been first rate, he really knows his shit. He's quite a bit cheaper than some other places too.

  • I haven't been paying attention to flickr for a while and always thought I did well with
16k views on one photo but then I noticed that another one went up to over 150k
recently. Those rebloggers must have gone crazy because it went to almost 70k on
500px in a short time also.
    150k -> ? -> profit?

  • Sorry if this is a reep

I don't get this piece. at the time, "serious" photographers thought box brownies were artless and thoughtless, too. I will always love film, but I don't understand what this is saying, I may have missed the point though.

  • nothing, a hard life and 168k have started to melt her aha.

Just saw this one the other day and thought it might be a solution for your BMW..

Mju-II, on cheap ass film by the way.
