  • ^^ will just borrow for now i think! bit broke

  • These are great. Looks like film.

  • They do look like they've been shot on film. The guy's got a great eye that's for sure.

  • Just out of interest do any of you develop film yourself?

I've a brand new dark room / wet room in central London empty quite often and I was wondering if people would be interested in renting/using it?

I've developed lots of black and white that I have never seen beyond negatives held up against a window – I'm dying to make some contact sheets but I've never done it so would need a hand.

Can you elaborate on your offer? What's the cost and could you give some guidance?

  • +1 on some schooling, i'd be up for that

  • Glastonbury 2013, taken with my Canon AV-1:

Used 2 different films. 1 was nice and grainy. Quite pleased with them.

    My faves:

  • Could maybe do with a touch of post pro to make the blacks, well, black.

  • that building in nagoya that someone had nice photos of in digital thread, I forgot it existed then when I walked by it on my holiday I thought I should have a go

  • Couple from my Canon AE-1...

This is well tasty. Fine work.

  • Now that's nice

  • Got a roll at the lab, 2 rolls to dev but I can't get to the lab!

Just took my first portrait with the new 180mm for my RB67 too!

  • I need a tripod, anybody selling anything medium/large format capable?

Kicking myself for giving away an old manfrotto studio tripod I had

  • Now that's nice

    yes it is.
    what body of water?

    That was me! Good job.

  • Eyeculture has moved from Fashion Street to 255 Bethnal Green Road, in case you were planning on a visit. Also, they don't develop Velvia. Can anyone recommend a good Velvia developer; mail-order or London based, I don't mind.

  • Friends have had good results from here: http://www.the-darkroom.co.uk/
    Not cheap though.
http://www.digitalab.co.uk/ is my local lab and they do E6 developing and via post. Ask for medium res scans as tiffs.

  • I'll use your local lab as you have praised them before. Thanks, nefarious.

....Expensive..... It's the reason I stopped printing. Paper and developer just got our of hand. Pack of 25 8x10 sets you around 15quid. You can go through that in one couple hour session. I'd love to start printing again, only if someone pays for chemicals....

  • I haven't had a film camera for about 10 years but remembered these from my Flickr

might have to get back into it

  • Anyone looking for a cheap point & shoot? I bought a Yashica Zoomate 105SE the other week but it's not going to get any use alongside my XA2 & Mju 2. Tried to load film in it the other day and although it tried to load, it didn't seem to catch/take the film. Having read up it seems to be a common theme with these but apparently perseverance wins.
Would like to get what I paid for it so if anyone wants it it's a £5er.

  • Like the colours really, Fuji 160

  • good angles!

  • Fuckin' hell. That's my kind of photo.
