  • Selling my Olmpus OM-10 with 50mm f/1.8 lens and Yashica T4 on the bay. Thought some of you might be interested. I'll hand deliver them anywhere in London by eco friendly method (bicycle) if anyone on here wins.

  • How much would you want for the t4?

  • .....

  • Ended up buying a speed graphic the other day after a few drinks, really hoping I don't regret this when it arrives.

    Anybody used/using one?

Also, has anybody got any 4x5 film holders for sale? they seem really expensive for what they are

  • A guy I know in uni did exactly the same thing, we used it for a few things it was good but not as good as a full sized bellows kit. as for the holder i bought one from associated photography in falmouth for about £12, might be worth speaking to them.

  • Film holders do seem pretty expensive, even used. I'd suggest you buy a few coz being limited to 2 or 4 shots in a day is a total pain.

  • You can get a special holder for speed graphics that will take two plate holders at once

  • Can you not use double sided dark slides in a speed graphic? I'm sort of failing to understand how it could use 2 at once.

  • HMMM, been looking at t2s and t3s recently. Yours sounds more in line with my budget (although not inline enough that I can afford it!).

yes I have one but mostly used polaroids on it. Its a great camera.

  • ooo, lovely blur on that

  • My Dad has just given me his old Canon EOS 500, step up from the halina 35x I've been messing about with for the last few months, looking forward to using it. Also bought 10 disposable cameras for 8p each, so got a nice range of cameras now.

where from?! I thought 2 for a fiver in Asda was good value.

  • Morrisons, they were clearing out their stock so i helped them out. Used a couple over the weekend, looking forward to seeing what the pictures come out like.

  • Mju for sale here

REALLY wouldn't buy anything from oxfam online.

I've bought two cameras from there against my own feelings that there wasn't enough information, both were in terrible, borderline scrap condition, and the lens one of the lenses was seized and had the most fungus I've ever seen in any lens. They also refused to refund as apparently I was 'too fussy, and these have been checked by qualified professionals'!
They've just jumped on the bandwagon of 'cameras are all worth money money money'.
Very few are checked by anyone worth a damn (if at all!) and yet they ask for full fat shop/ebay price, and often quite a bit more.

I'm all for charities getting a bit of money for something, but the last 2 years, far too many of them have gone far too far with fancy shops, and obscene prices (oxfam often putting higher than street retail prices on used/dogged/smoked cloths).

  • i recieved a 24-40mm F3.5 Sun lens in the post today, it appears to be in almost brand new condition (nice big front element, no scratches, etc) and the focus ring is verrrrrrrrrrrrrry smooth however the zoom ring is hard to turn, it's smooth but hard throughout the focal length as if something is overtightened, any ideas?

    this is the lens

  • the lens looks like srs biznis

  • Yes!!

  • Just bought an XA2 on ebizzle. Flash is apparently busted but it was only AU$46 shipped, so a bargain all round. Can't wait for it to get here!

  • Ektar 100, Portra 160, Mju II, I'm in love.

  • Super Graphic I bought was not as good condition as described, pretty fucked off.

Shutter sticky at slow speeds, faulty seals, fungus in the lens, ground glass also appears to be suffering from something. Tried firing the shutter a load but no improvement yet.

    Gah

    That sucks.

Incase you were thinking of it, I would encourage you not to fuck with the shutter yourself. I took one (not a Super Graphic) apart and it was a nightmare to put back together!
