Analog film photography and cameras

I have a roll of Kodachrome and a Kodachrome super 8 cartridge, are these totally useless/obsolete? Is there anything I can do with them?

I think some people have had limited success developing as black and white. There is quite a lot on flickr and apug about it.

"Derek Jarman's Garden" with some nice photographs by Howard Sooley. Unfortunately it is plagued by tourists all year long and some just trample all over the place. I don't know how the owners put up with it.

I was walking along that stretch yesterday evening and there was a bus load of tourists there!

Looking at the prices they have gone for on EPrey and no guarantee they are OK I would keep an eye on dealers - the prices are similar.

I shot my latest bike build with an Olympus OM1n, Zuiko 50mm f1.4 lens and Velvia 100. Photographed at about 9 in the evening when the sun was low.

My favourite camera, and most used lens.....sadly, long gone. If I am reincarnated back into human form, I will seek it out, and buy back into the OM1n system. Lovely things.

Before you start wasting money on Leicas or Voigtlander lenses, check 'em out.
Back in the 60s most fixed lens compact had decent sharp glass. There was no such thing as bad optics, only cheaper plastic rangefinder bodies.

Any pro photogs in Manchester? I need a portrait shot in the next coupla weeks... Let me know...

try the AOP, they have a photographers portfolios listings and you can search by speciality/region.
they don't have any amateurs with dslr's to cock the job up for you as you have to be seconded by another member and pass a review of your work.

I've decided to make my film comeback, and its going to be on a Yashica Electro 35GT. I'm stalking some now on ebay. But does anyone have one they want to sell me?
