  • More scans.

    Love the colour ones πŸ₯°

  • @anidel could you give some more detail of what you bought, links etc?

  • Sure!

    This JJC ES-2

JJC ES-2 Film Digitizing Adapter with 6500K USB LED Light Set

    https://amzn.eu/d/6sIT3sN

If you got a light source or scan during the day and plan to use natural light you can get the one without the LED.

I am using it on my full frame Nikon D610 with the Nikon 60mm f/2.8 Micro AF-D as pictured a couple of posts above.

Once you get it right it scans a breeze and then it's as simple as inverting and editing digitally

  • Anyone fancy a copy of Joel Mayerowitz's A Question of Color? I got two for my birthday so have a spare. Yours for the price of postage.

Here's some (colour, rare for me) photos. Top and bottom are ColorPlus and I think the middle two are Cinestill 400D:

  • 3 is great.
Also imagine that book is gone but if not yes please

  • I like the first one - what's actually going on there?

  • It was during the annual fire festival held in Nozawa onsen village in Japan. In this part, the men parade through the town completely inebriated on sake waving flaming bundles of sticks.

It culminates in the men defending a temple constructed from more wood and sticks that is attacked by other villagers with more fire. Once they relent, everything gets set on fire.

The best part is that they give out lots of free sake. And when that's done, they move on to the premium sake.

    Thank you!

  • Last one reminds me of Guido Guidi, very nice. πŸ‘Œ

  • Thank you for elaborating!

That sounds like a fun night (and a great photo opportunity) πŸ™‚

  • Embarrassed, I had to Google... Thank you. His work looks great, many geometry much wow

  • ..really don't see myself using an AF film camera to be frank (as I would just burn through film much too quickly), but these shots do indeed look nice πŸ‘

  • Just downloaded a free trail of lightroom so I could process some shots and post on insta for the first time in a year. Olympus Mju II + Lomography Lomochrome purple that had been kicking about for several years , several moving houses and several times through an xray machine.

The woods cyclery 'rat run' route from last september.

  • Was wondering whether there's any news regarding the new cameras Pentax / Ricoh were planning to offer this year and found the below video..
..to be frank I'm somewhat confused, as initially they said (if I remember correctly) they intend to release three new film cameras, an entry level point and shoot, a SLR, and a more high-end compact - now in ths video he's talking about a half frame (I think) compact camera, with zone focusing and manual film advance and rewind mechanism, no mention of the other models.
