  • Carvers still open? Might have to swing by that way next summer as I'm heading up to Grimsby to see some family and then up to the coast.

  • Great black & white shots @YeahNerdz

  • Nice to see you posting again @shinkuu_kiss 🙂
Diggin' the one with the pillars, as well as the first one of your second post.
Never saw a Fuji Natura in the flesh; not sure we even have them in Europe..

  • @atz the one in the picture closed down, the one on chapel at and fair still open. Can't beat a real pattie!

    @salad-cunt thank you.

They're pretty easy to find over here and the price isn't quite as bad as all the cool compacts (probably because although the lens is nice the camera itself has a lot of limitations)

I thought about getting one for ages and caved after finding a beat up one for a cheaper than usual

  • Roll of cinestill 800t just arrived, pairing it it with my Olympus om30. Just need to find interesting subjects to take pictures of.
Right In thinking I won't need to use a tripod if the iso is set to the correct film speed if shooting at night in the city?

  • You probably will unless you have some very fast lenses. Have you shot 800t before? What kind of look are you hoping to get out of it?

  • I don't think my lens will be up to free hand work in that case. I have a tripod and shutter release cable though.
Never shot it before. Mainly colour plus and a few 400 iso films. Did push the 400 film for night photography so I'm getting more confident in my technical abilities.
Will be mainly city shooting sobim guessing shops ect. I'll have to try find some ideas from somewhere

  • Never shot it before. (...) have to try find some ideas from somewhere

I would really recommend checking flickr or google images, or their official site, to get an idea what stuff / what kind of light works best with this film.
My experience is it can look a-ma-zing in certain scenarios but can also look pretty mediocre if you "just shoot" it when it's a bit dim outside.

  • Top idea. Will do!
Wouldn't mind getting some foggy shots of certain shops with neon signs ect. I'll have a look at the suggested websites though.
    Cheers

  • Thats exactly what looks good.

  • Heres a couple I took on 800t that have stuck with me. Its not as fast as you might think it is though, def give it an extra stop unless you wanr zero detail in the shadows
