Nice !
Bought a couple of rolls of Velvia 100 to try slide film for the first time. Any tips for shooting it as it has a much narrower latitude than C41 doesn't it ?

Man, I wish I could give you some tips...... but my two rolls from Tiree were very mixed, some shots exactly as I wanted them but a lot of blown out skies / shadow foreground.
I would say shoot it in a camera with a reliable meter and avoid high contrast scenes.

The first time I was able to get such pretty and warm colors through a compact camera.
Vivitar PS145 + Superia 200
Also, is it wrong to like such gimmicky pics?

Slide film = expose for the highlights / Neg film = expose for the shadows.

Cheers. Have been shooting Ektar down my local wood and that's a champ for strong light filtering through trees type shots. Might save the Velvia for flat(er) light.
It'll go into a more modern Canon EOS camera with matrix meteringAlso thanks @mrboulard

Yeah, Ektar is an absolute boss for stong light. Love that film!

If only Kodak released an Ektar 400 I'd shoot it full time.
If Fuji do indeed pull out of film production, I'd be happy with a choice of Ultramax, Portra and (please Kodak) Ektar at 400ISO for C41.
As it is there's only really Superia X-tra 400 for a punchy film at 400ISO

@mrboulard I really like those.
Like to shoot with the Olympus Trip 35 every now again. Some of the results are infuriating (it's a camera with zone focusing and basic auto metering), but when the planets align I like the results as much as more expensive cameras. These two with Ilford XP2

The last load of shots you've posted need to be collated into a zine or mini book.

Really impressed with the quality of the lenses considering how cheaply they can be picked up - 28, 50 and 135mm can all be had for around £30 each

Agree with @mi7rennie your photos would look great curated into a book or zine.
Perhaps start with a website ? Adobe give you a free one if you're subscribed to Lightroom CC -
