Cheers, much appreciated !
Had my ebay Zeiss Ikon Nettar through the post last week. It has a bit of a damp/musty smell, a little bit of fungus in the lens and some small rust dots on the film pressure plate. However it's a joy to use, and the test roll came out fine.
I'm not going to be too precious about it at the moment (it was only £25 posted), but i'd like to stop the fungus growing further and kill the smell. Any ideas ?Zeiss Ikon Nettar, TMax 400 pushed 1 stop

I know this is one of the most common recurring questions in the thread, but does anyone have a 35mm point and shoot they'd sell? Ideally sub £30
I've been through a couple of mjus. -

Interested in any of these?

I have a Olympus AF-1 I'd be happy to go for what I paid for it - £20. Nice camera - Zuiko f2.8 lens: https://www.lomography.com/magazine/328039-lomopedia-olympus-af-1

Get rid of any leather cases, bag the camera up with some desiccants to dry it out. Then leave the lens in direct sunlight. This works quite well ... but can cause condensation so be slow moving the lenses between temps/humidity. Do sunlight bit outside rather than through a window ideally because UV is what you’re after.
I definitely wouldn’t keep this camera alongside others.

Thanks. It did indeed come with a rather battered leather case, which I'll bin. I should consider the camera and case toxic spore spreaders ?
Would a UV bulb work as well as leaving it out in sunlight ? Something like this ?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Energy-Saving-Light-Bulb-20W/dp/B000L97W74Edit - A quick google says no to the cheap 'black light' UV bulbs
Edit2 - Some debate here as to if fungus can jump between lenses

It's getting close to the end of the year, anyone want to share their favourite photos from 2017?
Any great plans for 2018?
Any projects?

Not a huge fan of those annual "best of" things to be honest.
Great plans for 2018:
- accumulate funds
- get serious with medium format
- make more prints
Projects 2018:
- shoot more people
- with a camera I mean
- accumulate funds

Shooting people is one of my favorite things to do, I don't do enough of it either.

Main one for me in 2018 is to start developing and scanning my own B&W. £15 for a roll of 120+develop+scan is getting too pricey at 12 shots per roll.
Every time I cock up a shot it feels as though I'm chucking £1.25 down the drain. Still, it's making my ratio of crap to good go up on a roll as I'm being far more selective -

Let me know if you need any kit to get you started I have a metric shit tonne of Darkroom kit that is surplus to requirements.

Outrageously good.

Cheers, thank you. I'll sort out what I'm going to use for scanning first as that's going to be the biggest expense.
I do have a cheap Canon combi flat bed scanner/ink jet printer, would a mask like this work in the short term with it ?
https://shop.lomography.com/en/digitaliza-120-scanning-maskEdit - it appears not, I still need a scanner that will work with negs

I have a Big mini, its quite battered, and noisy, just about works, they usually go for about £90 these days (I think) but could do it for £30 prob seeing as its not in perfect condition...

Do you have a digital camera? That is what I scan with.
If so I have a light box you can have FOC.
Yeah the Trip 35 is a classic.
It simply does a great job of 'normal' photography (iso 100 in common conditions).
Liking the first two shots from your c330 particularly. The 1st reminds a bit of an L.S Lowry painting or something.
