Question regards Nikon Laf35
Can’t get focus in dim light, not total darkness something like in pub around 8pm heh. When I half press shutter button the focus conformation arrow keeps going into mountains (infinity I presume) even if subject 2-3 meters away. I’ve tried to focus on something bright and contrast but the arrow still stops only in mountains. Same situation is outside in street when it’s dark and no problems with focus in day light. Is it one of dose old tech down sides that just have to live with or camera needs some service?
Hmm.. I just checked with mine and it does focus accurately in dark conditions.
Not exactly sure but I thought the L35AF's focussing is infrared-based anyway so light levels shouldn't matter.. then again it's weird that yours is focussing ok in daylight.
This probably isn't much help, sorry.. -

Last few from my initial experiments.
I really want to shoot people with this bad boy but I need some tame subjects..... It's not going to be a quick shoot.

I've used them a lot, mostly for getting chemicals for developing film. Shipping prices are a bit steep, but sometimes I'd be able to find things I couldn't get on UK sites, so was worth it. Shipping was quick though so worth it.

Yeah you are probably right. I went with five rolls of Ektar 100. I like the purple hues of the photos I have seen online.

..I like that second one. Spent some time just looking at the ripples in the original-size jpg - mesmerizing!
Such detail.. -

..cool, have fun!
Not the biggest Ektar fan myself to be honest as colours / saturation looks "too crazy" for me, but really enjoyed some pictures shot with this on overcast / cloudy days I saw recently.

I will find out. I have been on Portra 400 a bit and find it good looking but also digging the ektar

Has anyone experienced this issue with a Nikon 35ti? Basically it looks as if the shutter is firing twice. At first I thought it was something to do with the metering and it was just choosing slow shutter speeds when it shouldn't. However reviewing the images, it doesn't look like motion blur, more like 2 pictures printed over each other. What do you guys think? Both of these shots were in bright daylight.
