Olympus Trip 35 is your best bet.
I found it ironically similar to my Lomo LC-A, it's simple, no battery required (have a working light metres solar powered), focusing is 'click' and looking through the viewfinder you can see the distance marked on the lens which is handy, tough and practical.
there's already I think 400 millions in circulation, so can be brought for cheap (like dollars).
mydearboy, the photos' lovely, that's something I like to see.

Does anyone have or know anyone who wants to sell a Mamiya 6 or 7? My girlfriend has been wanting one for a while and i thought it would be a good birthday present.

Yeah, I have Pm'd him but I haven't had a reply yet. Thought I'd put a few more feelers out here before I resort to eBay.

+1 on antisharpness. a lot of flickr pics cut up my retinas. mostly done by blokes who spunked 10 grand on dslr bodies and p'shop the buggery out of the reslts. photographic equivalent of nodders...

Medium Format Processing thread.
This forum really does have just about everything.

Just incase your tempted by price, Jessops do slide processing but it's sent away to fuji (I think) takes a while to come back though. Even if they say 10days, don't plan for it to be back in less than 3 weeks.
Best to avoid, results can also be a bit hit and miss in regards to quality. -

Ilford FP4 125 ISO, Nikon FG & 28mm lens.
there are some more random forum shots from the past couple of months here:

I love FP4. But it's a shame I can't use it with the Leica M3 that I used to. It was destroyed when my uncle's car blew up.

I have a roll of Ilford Delta 100 that's dated March 2008.
It's just been kicking around my room, not refrigerated or anything.
Is there any point in shooting it or will it be too far gone and if I do shoot it should I adjust exposure by a certain amount or shoot as normal and dev differently?
I'v devved my own films before - though not for a while - but never out of date stuff.
Got an F100 this week so thinking I should get back into doing my own films rather than shoot c41 film all the time and get it devved n scanned at the local lab. -

Iv also just found a roll of xp2 that's out of it's box so no date but I think it was older than the Delta 100.

recent efforts.
velvia 100 i think and the b&w are on some horrible c41 B&W, all shot on a 28mm on an olympus om20. -

Bravo mate, bravo.

And loving the first pic, mydearboy. Pissed Japanese businessmen. I hope this is what Tokyo is like when I go there!
