Finally developed my test roll of Kodak ISO 0.8 microfilm and made a quick scan. It's pretty interesting to see black and white slides come out of your developing tank. (Dev. 1:100 rodinal for 1 hour) though I feel this film is probably better suited to sunnier weather...

Have you got a decent focus screen fitted?
There's a bunch:

Wow, blown away by the choice!

Yeah. Most are specialist. You're best off with one of the two(?) standard screens (split + matt or split + grid I think) ... not sure which code those are of the top of my head. Will check tonight.
I got one (to replace some macro screen and match my other OM).

Actually I think I settled on screen 1-13. (edit: I checked, it is the 1-13).
The standard screens didn't all have a split image.
It's a bit of a minefield.

Thought so, I cross it daily. It's a photogenic bridge, looks especially good when lit up.

Well a few more days practice has helped and reading on how the spilt image and micro prism work has helped too.
Proof will be in the images I guess!

They look ace! Out of interest what are you rating it at?
-
• #12944
I set the camera at 640 but I give it another +1/2 stop a lot of the time
the first one must be 800 tho as it was in a camera with no control (konica big mini with a dead rear panel)

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for some and give it a go.

For those who enjoy slide film, looks like Kodak are bringing back ektachrome

I wish they had brought back Kodachrome instead.

..to quote somebody on IG -
Impossible, as it requires special chemicals for development that are no longer made for environmental reasons.

OM-2n in action with 50mm F1.4 fitted ! Lovely to use in good light, difficult to focus in low light. Despite all the cameras I've used over the last few years there is something very satisfying about the manual SLR.
