Don't know if anybody here has experience of using praktica b-mount lenses and could recommend the best body that takes them.
I have been using a b200 for a long time and the light meter has suddenly gone a bit up the creek and I'm no longer sure that it is exposing correctly.
Which B model do you think is the best to replace it with(I would change to a better camera but it would mean changing all the lenses as well, which is too expensive for me!) -

I used to have a B200 about 18 years ago, and it gave me lovely results.

I've seen all these on ebay, but I really don't know which one to get. Probably best to get the b200 again as they all seem fairly similar but I am more familiar with the b200. Plus, I think it looks better than the others! I couldn't find any other manufacturers that used the b-mount so that limits the options.
I have a newer, 'better' fully electronic SLR, which to be honest just isn't as fun to use. I like turning the chunky knob to change speeds and not turning a wheel or pressing buttons to change an lcd display. For me the b200 does everything I need it to and nothing I don't.
One day, when I am loaded I will buy better 35mm but until then I think I'll stick with this one..........if only they made adaptors for the b lenses to use on other bodies.. -

The only advantage (to me) of newer cameras, is their more accurate and sophisticated metering systems. Apart from that, nothing. I don't need the rapid winder, or anything. Anyone who knows metering well, would not be unhappy with images from the B200.

How many of you guys take pictures when your out cycling? I'd be interested at looking at photos and blogs.
I'd also like to start doing something like this myself so any tips would be good.

There's one very special thing about that camera.......It takes the Zeiss Contax lenses meant for the top of the range Contax 35mm cameras.
Oh yes, and fully manual and mechanical, if that is what one requires.

yeah, i did a bit of research, there's a lot of stuff about how adaptable it is.
it's sitting on my printer looking very pretty. -

Do you have enough leica's???
What makes the picture for me is that the rough line of the 'flare' is 'continued' in the bright reflecting seams on the road.
