Really stunning photos. The second one is, to use a much over-used word, epic.

Just finished my last batch of scanning. A little more B+W, and a roll of Portra 400 from Berlin. No more spamming after this post. Promise!

I've also just bought a load of big printing paper (16"x20"), so will be heading back into the darkroom soon, to do some printing. Results to follow.

When they're this good, it's not spam. Excellent again man!

Great stuff!
Especially those Ektachrome ones.. gorgeous.. -
• #11458
excellent.. mountain shots should be printed as large as possible.

Yeah I love all the Ektachrome especially.

Think I mentioned experiments I did with a pinhole camera shooting directly on a 4x5 polaroid back..
Just saw a neat polaroid-pinhole camera that does pretty much the same thing, offering a few more options.. given the cost of instant film I doubt I'll ever shoot it again, still I dig this: -

Anyone here use those Nikon AF3 one touch things? Any good?
-
• #11462
I use the earlier version, the L35AF (you could say it's the "AF1"), which I like a lot.
Bit bulky, but great lens and some nice options missing in other auto-pocus point-and-shoots (ability to use filters, to set ISO manually, plus backlight compensation button). -

Sweet. Will try a roll and see how it goes.

Sweet! Following.

Note the different versions have different lenses.
The original AF one is supposed to be the best, I have not seen or done side by side comparisons though. -

Very good.

Heads up.
Calumet have a 10% off all film.
They're prices on Ektar and Portra are already good and you get free postage over 50 quid.

..sorry if I posted that already; can't remember.
Just going through some old CineStill scans..
Sadly, they have upped the prices close to €12 per roll which is just too much for me for daily stuff.Trying to settle on one kind of film for 2016.
Want rather warm colours and good scan-ability.
Think it'll be Porta, though this has become more expensive as well.
Ektar also! Well I guess that's how it goes with film. -

that's really nice.

Cross processed? Nice colours.

Portra.
Yes, everything is shot hand-held, upto 1/2 second (this is why I specifically wanted an mf rangefinder, not slr). Anything longer than that, I brace the camera against a wall/rock/anything solid. I don't carry a tripod, especially in the mountains, as the camera itself is weighty enough already! All of these shots are un-metered. I just use my eyes and the sunny-16 rule!
