I think the appeal is that it's quite light and considerably cheaper than most 4x5 systems. It does have its limitations but I think it depends what you're after

Ha. Cheers bro. I'm sure there are simpler and cheaper ways of doing things but I like a challenge. On that note I've found a guy in the US who has made a custom jig to replace the failed shittuer switches so in sending it off!

Think the tumblr looks pretty good, pics you posted are quite rough; what are those shot / developed / scanned with?
..my online dictionary says that's the englisch word for the german "piepen" or "piepsen" - the sort of sound they make, bit like "peeping"?
