Picked up an Olympus mju ii on eBay for a reasonable price. Going to try and get some pound land film over the next week to put through it, very excited!

First few back from #demigapyah. Hexar and Cinestill 50D. A couple (not these ones, yet to post anywhere, really blew me away). -

Sorry was not suggesting you were being critical......Im new to having film scanned and thought you meant color was weird due to scan......I would have remained ignorant of the banding if it had not been pointed out to me...............Love the carousel.

How did you get that distortion effect? Looks cool

It's an "accident" that happens when you have this type of scanner -
And you advance the mask to the next frame during the preview scan.

These are great. Do you have a link to more? Curious to see your travels and geek-out on cinestill...

Cheers BRO. My instagram is https://instagram.com/chrisg116/ and there will be a shit ton more over the next few weeks. Prob around 30 shots from Cinefilm if the first 2 are anything to go by. Sometimes the lighting and the film match up to form perfection.

Are this more useful than a full flatbed scanner with the adapters?
I do have a flatbed scanner, but it is kinda slow :/ -
• #10324
and anyone knows a place to develop my rolls (maybe print them) near Liverpool Street station?
-
• #10325
..no, flatbed is more convenient basically, as you can "feed" it more negs at once, set up your frames, and have the software scan one after the other - while with the scanners like the one above you can only feed one strip of 6, and have to advance frames by hand.
They generally deliver better quality though as they're "dedicated" film scanners..
Oh and yea, mine is slow as well (at least 3600dpi and up, not to mention with ICE dust removal)..
well nice..
And yeah I meant the banding at the top of the image; apart from that it's great, exposure is just right and yes, the colours are super!
