Been having a wee look at routes for Saturday morning.

Have a look at the elevation profile (top left button). Looks pretty fun....
Would need to get the train out to Hexham..... or it would turn into a 100 miler +

Fuck my hat Gav, are you actually trying to kill us? I love that you have to go up Hartside pass - the highest point on the C2C - twice.
However, always good to have a challenge, as long as you're prepared to wait for me at the top of each hill... Looks like no smoking for Hamatt this week.

• #816
Yeah Al. Im on the the fox of fire. working fine on IE as well.
Matt - if you want to find another route that's more gay, im up for suggestions... -

keep trying, it didn't load for me the first couple of times for some reason on ff either.
-
• #818
I'm on IE and it's fine.
I reckon the route's worth a crack. Did most of that on the second C2C day fixed and with luggage so how bad can it be... And the good news is, the forecast seems to be hot hot hot!

There's a train to Hexham at 9:24, we gonna be on that mo fo? Seen as you've questioned my manhood, it's gotta be done. May be wearing the pink shorts over my lycra though.
Would drive but think a pint or two might be in order. -

sounds like a plan to me princess. is it a double date? or does anyone else fancy a saturday morning nose bleed?

• #821

Did you boys make it out for a ride?
We had good times destroying a few of the Lake District's finest hills on Sat. To be fair, don't think it would have been that much fun on one of those crazy fixie skidder bikes I keep hearing about though. Freewheel ftw on a four mile descent! -
• #824
ah was gonna ask about sat! how did you get out there?
-
• #825
took the old carlisle express straight to hexham. did about 65 miles all-in-all. good ride. have to concur with hamatt though, would have been a total mare on a fixed. would have looked much better though obviously.
